1 Thessalonians 5:4 NIV Give or take Christ will come to do one or the other with life itself. And make no mistake, we who were once darkness were too then darkened to the reality of the eternal difference and the beautiful distance between them. In fact the dimness of our existence was once so defined that we ourselves were defined by it as its presence came daily to present this pretense of a preference for its always being allowed in what was then a stark permanence as placed upon our every action, every thought, every single word for which we fought or bought or sought some way to say that we were okay with who we were living how we were in a place in which we thought life was going okay and thus meant to stay. Simply because the darkness makes it harder to see the mistakes. Indeed, it’s quite hard to read the lines of which we’d colored outside when the outside finds no sunshine allowing sight to bring its well understood clarity to something. Which is an oddity in all reality. Fo...

Proverbs 29:23 NIV The first, last. All because pride lives to gain what it will never have whilst humility comes to have all that it never imagined being able to find. For those lost shall be found while those who’ve found what they love will be left just as lost as all of it will be simply because all that we love within this life will be lost as this life’s not meant for us to find having already left it to the birds of such things as boasting and other such disbeliefs. Indeed, we’ve done a great many harms to this life in which we’ve hoped to have a life in which we’d not lose a thing of everything we’ve looked to find for so long that we cannot seem to even imagine anything else anymore. The worst of such harms to be proven these forsaken pedestals upon which we’ve planted roots promised to spring to ruin our every perfect plan and the pretty pretenses that seem to have made that make sense. Yes, we’ve long lived as if this life were ours to make sense of, and in light of that sen...

2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV Sight forsaken. Simply for the sake of what’s found in faith in that I cannot disprove what I as of now know I have not seen, which while that may sound weird in regard to the wondering as to how anyone is supposed to see what they can’t prove isn’t there, but in reality, such is faith, is it not? For to see is to know, but that only what the eye is assured of whereas to hope is to know further than the eye can see. And thus faith, to me, is something that simply must make more sense than the sense of sight might only ever assume, simply because of the sheer difference in distance. Because our eyes can see a few miles at most. But our hopes, well, they’ve long seemed able to see both memories and the more we still intend to make in the days that we absolutely cannot prove we’ve still left in which to make them. Which is the only excitement that I find I’ve left in life. It’s that felt within looking beyond what is this barricade of a life all but already lost. Be...

Proverbs 26:12 NIV For ‘twas never our eyes which were to be tasked with the discovering of where wisdom lay. Nay, rather wisdom is beheld in only the eye of the Beginner, the Author, the purely divine Definer of what wisdom must be as it cannot be something so ordinary as to exist within the consist of a culture so often calamitous that we cannot any of us define neither one day from the prior nor the hope that the coming is to be then proven better. For as we’ve talked at length of late, fact is that we’ve all long since forsaken the ferocity needed to reach the better for which we’re better at finding excuses to debate. Indeed, betterment is anymore a subject so subjective that it’s fallen upon each of us to determine for ourselves just how far we’re willing to go as determined by what all we’re willing to endure in the ways of pains as proven of all growth. No, seems that to grow is anymore a show we’re unwilling to see simply for the sake of the fees and parking. Rather we’re more...

Romans 8:18 NIV From within a faith which affords the promise of the last someday being first is found the hope that these present struggles through which we stumble will too turn into a triumph upon that same day. Because that’s just what Jesus does, turn things into their otherwise impossibly opposed outcome. Indeed, as He is what we can continually consider a continued contrarian to the current consensus, we can then contend that His intent is to do as He said He intended and even showed He entirely insisted to the tune of tables turned and the dead walking amongst those who only assume themselves alive. For He has worked so many miracles along the way to where we are today that we’ve now no reason to imagine that whatever we face is afforded the finality we usually fear. For He is the only One with the final word, and His Word has read that those who suffer in this life are done with sin, thus done with death, thus afforded a new life revived inside their share of His suffering blo...
