2 Timothy 1:9 NIV believes before the beginning And thus too after for if there was something there in which to believe in before this thing we now know as time began then so too must it make sense for something to be there waiting for this thing called time to reach its end. And, well, if for nothing else but the simple sake of simplicity, why not believe that that which was before is the same as that which waits after? Seems to make things entirely elementary, which, not to knock us or anything, but such is in all honesty the kind of thing that we do best with. That which is so simple it’s stupid. And that because we’re so stupid that He had to make it all so very simple as to literally tell us how all of this, and all of us, both got our start, what to do with what’s so clearly now underway and even what is the way we’re supposed to go through this show that is this life down in this hole that is our soul that has been sold to he who seeks only to steal and kill and destroy, a work ...

1 John 2:17 NIV reconsiders the ruins Because for all our lives we’ve all been told that anyone who’s doing anything other than whatever is common or normal or elsewise popular is all but simply wasting their lives as, apparently, within this life we’re all here to find nothing but fun and fame and a true fortune then to be made out of what is a life given unto a stage living from which we perform for the masses all the signs and shows and songs they want to hear and see from you and me. Mostly only those who seem to agree that everything that everyone is doing is both just fine to be done and thus too something we may as well then do. After all, everyone can’t be wrong, can they? Well, according to the Word of God, yeah, yeah we are all in fact wrong. And now granted, there’s always some sort of measure to that in which we're all at what are various depths of depravity, delusion, disillusionment, indifference basically the lot. We are all in truth a quite different degree of lost....

Isaiah 53:3 NIV What is esteem? Is it this thing that we’ve invented intended to measure the worth of another’s intent or their content? Is it the degree to which we agree with whoever someone is as is often defined only by whatever someone does? Is it something we do trying to determine who we’re willing to look up to, who we’re willing to follow, who we’ve no such interest or intent? Is it an advent of an event to which we attend what is this coming of either a friend or foe, the difference only defined by what little we know of who another really is? Is it our trying our best to see only the best and that in everyone else? Is it our hoping that everyone else sees in us the best we too are trying to be, and that even though we know we fail more times than not? Is it not our attempt to gauge another’s attempts to be what we alone perceive as being the best? Indeed, to hold someone or something in high esteem is this cultural thing we all then learned to do in which we learn to lose ou...

Romans 5:3 NIV The weathering It’s something of a matter so easily argued that it’s nothing we need argue over at all. Rather we all know and that because we entirely understand what is the gravity of this life as is poured in this ever-consistent rain which flows in pain, in problem, in punishment and the profit by which we seek the pleasure in which we find this ability, albeit limited in both scope and time, that allows for something of a respite from life. And indeed, all of us have already seen what we likely feel our fair share of the bitter air of a life lived atop what is a battlefield. Whether we see it that way or not. Which is itself becoming something of an irony to be honest. For the honest truth is that there are so many here who live so vastly lost inside this endless assumption as to the general purpose of life itself being something we’re all meant to measure in the matters we think more majestic than others. It’s this theory theorized as our “best life”, an idea we ea...
