Why this opportunity given unto a creature such as myself? Why this display of kindness offered to a people so lost inside themselves that they'd forgotten the radical simplicity of love? Why such an undeniable image of forgiveness painted for a people so blinded they'd find a way to deny it forever? Why go through all that He chose with the knowledge that the road opened beyond that rolled stone would be too narrow for most to consider and even fewer to follow? Why would God humble Himself to the very point of being wrapped in a cloth and tossed in a tomb as if rubbish finally discarded in order to give a gift entirely undeserved to the very people who'd just as soon have left Him hanging there as a reminder of their victory over what they could only see as an offensive affront because...
