1 John 2:20 NIV Slippery There’s bound to be this slickened consistency unto anyone, anything that has undergone the anointing process as it’s a progress proven in the pouring on of oil in what is then a visual showing that the person/item is from then on going to be used as something different than what it may have been used for, known for back before this new began. And as oil is used it will lead those anointed to lose their perhaps longstanding ability to be seen as something that blends with what is a world entirely watered down and seeking everything always the same. Just waterlogged. It’s something we do as to help things lose their gravity, their majesty, their overall travesty of their demanded tragedy of our lives as lived before lost being because of what they mean and how deep that meaning measures. For unto those of such a shallowness as all human vanity and arrogance must always remain, the same are in constant need of some way to restrain the meaning, merit, purpose or p...

Hosea 2:5 NIV Born this way And so we go this way. Because our way is the way of the ways that those who came and went before us went when they came to believe that they too should live only to go wherever they determined for themselves was best to be. And indeed, still do we even today live as if we ourselves know best what is both to the right and what more is wrong and thus to be left only unknown, unwelcomed, unwanted, and unwon. For to win within what is a world in which the best way is always that of another, well, we’re then bound to follow the other until we find another that looks better. Because along this way best has always this way of somehow improving. All while we ourselves have none of the same potential. For rather we all live as if we’ve arrived at what is our potential’s pinnacle as purported by a pride reporting as if our lives are the stuff of both legend and lore and then best to be seen everywhere and in everything from the nightly news to the billboards strewn a...

Jeremiah 3:3 NIV Brazen It’s a people brave in what is a trade in in which they slave in their made dens of chosen sins as held close to them as they live within what has long been a way of life lived without Him who is the Head of we who were called to live as if the body which does only as and goes only where the Head so holds for what is our hope of what is a home in which we are not so bold as to die so slow as in this way in which we grow so cold and alone in what has become a life well known for that brazen look of a soul that’s been sold. And that to the lowest of all bidders. For that is what we’ve accepted in exchange for our chance to change into a people who live this life to chase what is the waste of all that is for the joy of reaching for all which isn’t. No, we’re seeing a world increasingly content with the current who mind not then that it’s pulling us so far under that we have now so many who live here daily as if wrong is right and dark is light and black is white an...

Isaiah 3:9 NIV Unmasked There’s become a clarity to our lack of care, an obviousness to our obliviousness, a defiance unto our furthered reliance upon the substance of what we then see as seeming to then be all the reason we need to sin with such a grin that anymore to our depths there appears no end. Rather we daily dive unto a deeper darkness in these lives barely alive looking for more of the hate and horror that’s become the show we both see and sell. Marching onward toward an impending hell, the world as almost a whole walks forward knowing so well that they know where they’ve chosen to go that they hide it not anymore. Instead we see all the time these masks falling, being left behind. It’s the continual coming of our unbecoming the anything better we could have striven to be, driven to see, yearned to find or simply fought to keep. No, we walk within a world that wishes not to keep anything of all that wasn’t even as decent as our furthered descent has come. And while I suppose ...

Deuteronomy 20:1 NIV For while Egypt may have changed faces as we live now in different places, not much has changed in regard to the fact that life’s a fight and too that this faith calls us out of the flight and unto the line. Because, just as those streams of water which appeared in the desert back then, still there runs quietly an almost silent reminder whispered between the raindrops and rooftops which speaks a promise that can only be but an idea so long as our souls are tasked with the guiding of these vessels into the winds of God’s will for where our lives are meant to go. And because His will as paved toward that promise so purchased that it’s all but said and done leads into those winds and winds through our wants it’s often at war against what’s any given day all but anything. Somedays we fight against the hardships which steal our hope whilst within others we war against the wishes that we never seem to see might hold the very hardships which delight to steal our hope. Sim...
