Something like being in prison or stuck on some deserted island in the middle of some sea somewhere. And for however long you’ve been there you’ve been trying all you could think of in order to remedy this struggle that you’re facing, the pain that you’re feeling, the misery that meets you fresh every morning and never leaves your side even when you try but only fail to sleep at night. And let’s say that you hear a plane flying overhead or are just certain you’ve just seen a ship on the distant horizon or were just told you could make one more phone call to see if you could get ahold of someone to maybe speak to the judge and get you a second chance to have your case heard.
