Psalm 90:10 NIV Trouble and sorrow I sit here at 38, apparently and probably halfway home if not more, and I can already look back on what’s been a ride long spent through a fair share of the both as have been met more times than I can remember as of this morning. For in truth, such truly is life. It’s but our time in which we find that we’ll all feel that we’ll always fail to find the fun, fame, fortune or whatever other such fast-paced frivolousness that the world continues to tell us that we need in ever-growing measure. Why? Because to many here this place is their home and thus too the same of their every treasure and, well, as time continues to fly by toward wherever time goes once it’s gone from us, the same then seem to easily understand that their running out of the time they once had more of demands they find more soon. Not time as that’s what we fail at in this life, finding time. But more stuff, more treasure as it were and for many will continue to be. Indeed, so many here...

Colossians 3:8 NIV But now For indeed, in light of what was done then by He who’s done since all we’ve still needed Him to do, not that the doing has changed but only that its being done has become entirely more personal since we’ve ourselves arrived upon what is this still continuing cultural crime scene as seen inside such things as the presence of just as much doubt, denial and debauchery as ever in history, in light of the Christ and all He’s accomplished and called us to share, well, it seems that there is no finishing this faith nor then the growth away from the life spent running only away from it. Because if who we once were in that way of life we once lived as those who have all lived as if Christ never did, yeah, we’ve all got plenty left we need to lose before we leave what we’ll all lose anyway. And in fact what we’re all scheduled to lose now is that life we’ve all lived in love with all that is neither alive nor then in any way loving. For as it’ll turn out, you have to a...

Mark 8:35 NIV A life lost. Seems as though that such is what’s promised unto all no matter how we get there. And too it’s a promise that’s to be proven in perhaps perfectly unique ways within the days we’ve each been allotted to live a life lost. Which, granted, isn’t at all what God at first hand in mind as He held us inside the same. No, for once we were imagined into creation, a creation created by a Creator creating a cherished children whom each shared in His image and imagine the identity He imagined us having. It’s just that we willfully lost what He fought for us to simply have and stay. We rather wanted another way as won within our wondering into wandering both away from who He is and thus who we were made to be. For the fact is that the two, whilst obviously different in regard to such things as authority and thus too authorship, weren’t at first designed to become quite so different as we’ve delighted to be. No, in truth God didn’t create us to so delight in our own demise ...

1 Peter 2:1 NIV Because He did. Indeed, that Christ came how He came was intended to change everything in what was then a good work began that He’s said was started with every intention of carrying it on until its completion at the day of Himself. Alas I suppose that perhaps the overall confusion, as designed inside of our common delusion that has us all but bound and determined to do this our way so as to always find us feeling as if we’re the ones in control, that confusion of none of us knowing the day nor hour has stripped us of any such power and proven us rather entirely at the mercy of both time and trial. Don’t mind the first as it’s so taken for granted that it’s quite easily ignored. The second though… No, we’re not at all inclined to endure such things as trial for the simple torment that we see inside such portent as His even warning us that whilst within this world we would have trouble. We don’t want trouble. Oddly enough don’t really mind making it, but we really don’t w...

Matthew 7:6 NKJV As we sullenly drift through a life of only knowing peace in pieces, it's safe to say we need to reconsider where our priorities are being placed. Because in all truth, odds are that they're being allowed to be swayed if not sullied by this society we've been taught to satiate. We've grown in a world where to belong demands a list of demands being met. And well, among those demands is usually found everything that makes us who we are, everything that's been given us to remain who we are in order to do what we're here to do. But alas, those concerns find themselves too simple for the simple minded. Life can't be allowed to become so heavily one-sided, swerved entirely toward a life lived in the right out in His light. No, we've had this outlook impressed upon us that has us believing that we're here only to impress those around us. And thus we spend our days throwing away what makes us uniquely us all so we can better blend into the m...
