Matthew 23:34 NIV The difference Thanks to what I know a mind which thinks entirely too often about entirely too much I’ll readily agree that it’s perhaps a distance so small that it may in truth not be there at all. And indeed, I do find lately that my mind’s so cloudy that I often feel as if I’m just coming up with the most random of stuff in my still trying to find something worth saying. And maybe this will come out as so many of these do anymore and leave the point, the purpose of it all lying beaten and broken upon the floor a mind flooded with entirely too many thoughts of which to ever make sense. But still, as of this morning at least, I do find that I do feel that there is a difference to be found between a life well lived and a life lived well. And in fact I think it’s such the difference that it designs both danger and disaster but so too delight and devotion. Which pair you find depending entirely upon whichever side of the line you may happen to find your mind, your life ...

Acts 2:33 NIV A gift from home And as it’s the most expensive ever known, proven only in the Son showing that this life we live is ours on loan, it’s also to become the most priceless of all possible possession as it proves the very start of what begins a progression from what’s been our every broken part in our every broken past that continues on from all of that toward all that He said is waiting at the end of all that is. An end itself seen and shown inside so very much within this rental home in which we live on loan these lives we hold. Seen and shown inside the sights and sounds we somehow come to see and say as are spoken and known of a love that’s grown inside our hearts by at first tearing them all apart. All to begin in us the brand new start that He said He had to reach His end here only to leave and send back that which He knew we’d need to find success along this journey. What journey? The descent into madness that we’ve been talking about for I believe over two months now...

Titus 2:14 NIV identifies our identity And realizes that all this time it’s simply been waiting for us to stop worrying so much as we all sadly have about all that we think we need to have and have come to want and for whatever reason once chose to do. Now granted, all of those things do play a part in defining who we are as they all are all these little parts and pieces that have, at times, been held inside our hearts and seemed to even maybe have offered us peace, hope, joy and purpose. Even if albeit in pieces. But that’s the realization that we’re all going to realize someday. Or it’s at the very least a part of it. It’s that within this life as is being lived by all of us who are alive here now, the very best of anything we’ve ever had or held or hoped we could was destined to be only diluted, divided, endangered, indifferent. And that’s because everything here is bound forever to an inescapable transitory nature. And we all know this perfectly well because all of us have in life ...

Titus 2:13 NIV works through the waiting Not only because that’s simply what we’re here to do, a fact rather easy to prove in light of all we’ve all the ability, the opportunity, the understanding and (hopefully) willingness to, but also because, well, what else is there to do? What else are we to give all this time we’ve been given to? What more might mean more than our doing more than we’ve already done, becoming then something more, (hopefully) something better than we’ve been before? Honestly, why would we still have a life if not to live it doing something within it? Doesn’t make any sense. And yet it sadly seems increasingly obvious that many here do find themselves of the ability to find sense in the senseless. So much so that there are a correspondingly increasing many who have managed to make careers, find fortunes, even find fame and friendships within the doing of nothing. At least nothing all that good or meaningful or even productive. I mean truly, do we need more influenc...

2 Corinthians 5:5 NIV revels in the unraveling For comes within it the realizing as to the distances and discrepancies designed and determining both between where we are and where we’ve the chance to be but also then those dividing who we are from who we were made to become. And the distances and differences are so disastrous that it demands of us a choice chosen as to just how frozen we become to what are basically only two different beliefs as are believed by all who live what is a life within this world in which we all have. And those two are that either here is home or that we’re not wherever it’s meant to be found. I was just thinking about this in decidedly different terms last night as I found myself wondering once again through this curiosity as to why this world works this way in which it both thinks it does and has indeed come to convince us all it should. So many things just continue to become questionable as I grow up and get older and find this boulder on my shoulder that ...
