Colossians 2:23 NIV Failing to fully understand the severity of our fallen condition hasn't only led us to being God's enemies through living lives that Scripture says are hostile toward Him, but it's also caused us to fashion our very own stumbling blocks that prevent our full acceptance of faith and the truth it's built upon. Not only have we failed to find the necessity of God’s will and acknowledge the authority of His Word, but we've arrogantly sought to replace them. Don't believe me? How often do you think about what you need to wear to church on Sunday morning in order to appear presentable to the rest of those gathered in the congregation?
