Day 4124 of the 7 day Bible verse challenge.

Romans 7:5 NIV takes a right through wrongs On the surface it seems a considerable counter productivity to have had the law given which would thereby outline all the ways in which we’ve all fallen out of line in what’s long been a life in which we’re all falling behind in terms of following He who is the Life. I mean, doesn’t it seem the least bit strange that God would bestow this thing upon His children that would cause said children to realize they’d grown into what’s really nothing short of heathenistic, hedonistic criminals who, having broken literally every law we’d be given, would then so too opt for a life spent hiding from Him? Truly, why would He do such a grievous thing unto we who were created in His image and therein meant to be His loving children? Well, because the simple reality is that we’ve all long since forgotten that we were made in His image having obviously opted instead to brazenly fulfill that part in Scripture where it’s said that in the last times there would...

Jeremiah 2:13 NIV The bush became stone And in our excitement to miss the opportunities hidden now forever therein thanks to the choices we’ve made instead we’ve since then determined to so forsake the better that we could have been that now instead we get all pleased with ourselves and this ability to accomplish the destroying of two things (or more) with what is but one stone slung in one attempt to achieve as much as possible both as fast as possible and with as little effort as required. Indeed, killing two birds with one stone is yet another age-old adage that we all know well the meaning and merit thereof. Just doubt we’ve ever considered that the two birds (or more) that we’ve killed were every opportunity to perhaps have become something better than we are, nor then that the stones we’ve thrown are in fact our hearts that have become so solidified and unalive thanks to our decision to do as little as possible whilst always remaining perfectly adamant that it works out as well a...

Romans 6:21 NIV Starved on shame. For such is the same that every tongue shall say upon that day when they’re all found knelt upon humbled ground thanks to bended knees and a heart that’s begging please don’t let what I’ve done become what I knew all along it might deserve. Because though we try with all our might to imagine that He may, upon that day, not have seen all we’ve sown as reaped within regret, that we’ve felt the same is what will prove a testimony against ourselves. Our very actions becoming then our own enemies. And yet still we live within this ever before as if there’s not that open door through which to rush so fast unto the fight of faith that we lose everything that’s always kept us away. And that from all He is because of all we’ve been willing to stay. Which now defines the discrepancy displayed as if so willfully designed within what’s been every single life’s time as given unto the sowing of such harvests as hatred, hardship, hassle, haughtiness and every other h...

Day 3505 of the 7 day Bible verse challenge.

Isaiah 53:6 NIV Life is a matter of our trying as the truth is that none of us know what we’re doing as each day is entirely new even though they’re all so often lived the same. So then do we just try the same thing over again assuming different results? Seems kind of insane if you think about it. Because for any to try is to stray, both from the norm and thus to the common. And while this is natural as we are a people of movement and motive, the problem is now proven in that we’ve strayed so far from what God created to remain normal that we’ve become a commonality altogether counterproductive to the praise He deserves for at first having created us to be as we should have remained. Alas, to remain is to accept, and yet to a culture so collapsed upon arrogance, to accept is to acknowledge only the defeat of the many other designs and dreams we’ve yet to force to be fulfilled. And for us to leave lost any of these ideals in which we’ve so invested so much of ourselves is to all but con...

Isaiah 59:9 NIV Make no mistake, it’s not that all we need can’t be found as if He’s not there, just that we’ve long been working on building all that we arrogantly insist He contend against. Thus we’ve devolved into having designed our very own delusion in which we pretend we have no problem. It’s not that God is dead or never existed to begin with. It’s not that He’s never been all that merciful and that He’s stopped reaching for us, coming for us, yearning for us to embrace the prodigal’s walk back from where it’s all gone wrong. No, He never left, never moved in fact. We did. We walked. Left a Garden in the dust while the pride inside of us insisted that we’d one day craft or create something at least competing if not entirely superior. And here we are, alive in this time in which the world is called an oyster, implying we can merely take what we want and do as we please without having to wonder or worry as to whether or not it pleases the One we forgot. Indeed, every day we awake ...
