Day 2097 of the 7 day Bible verse challenge.

Hebrews 10:36 NIV

So much of life is a process, a journey. Very rarely does anything happen right away. Now that may be counter to what we'd prefer, but our preferences don't really matter. All that matters is God's plans, His timing, His promises. And as long as we're constantly working to keep moving forward in the direction that He's calling us then we better believe we're going to get there!

We have to be willing to patient. We have to be willing to keep going whenever it seems like we're getting nowhere. We have to be able to get back on track after we've had an off day or made a mistake. We need to understand that small setbacks don't change the end goal. We have to realize that nothing can alter God's plans, and that if we're willing to focus everyone on following Him then nothing can keep us from reaching them.

Some days are going to feel like we've taken a step backwards. Other days we'll feel like we've completely fallen apart and don't know how to get back up. One step at a time, that's how. One day at a time. One decision at a time. We need to stop thinking that life and everything in it can be figured out or dealt with all at once. Often times it just can't.

So be willing to fall, it's going to happen. Don't be afraid to fail, might happen too. Don't worry about the setbacks or mistakes that you make along the way. It's all a process and those are just the parts that help us learn along the way. Perseverance is one of the biggest keys to reaching any and every goal in life. If we quit every time we mess up or things don't go fast enough then we'll never accomplish anything worth doing!

Just know that whatever you're trying to do probably won't go the way you imagined it going. Know that the prayers you've prayed have been heard and God is working. The way He leads us to the promises He has for us might be different than we would choose. We have to trust and follow Him anyway. Keep going. Brush off the setbacks and keep pushing forward. That's the only sure way to reach the finish line!
