Matthew 12:36 NIV Empty It’s a word that all but instantly invokes these many ideas of barrenness, a lack of something, a veritable void in which is found so little of anything that the only thing there to find is nothing. But what then is nothing? For if nothing is but a lack of something as has been lost in a void somehow, well then both what was the something that is now lost and just how big is the void we’d need to plumb or cross in order to find what the lost something was? Indeed, how can we find what isn’t? Moreover, how can we fix what maybe never was? This has anymore become in me one of those realities so very terrifying that I know not what to think, say, do in order to either do anything about it or that because I don’t know how to undo what I’ve done to have found myself here so under this sun that the Son sometimes still doesn’t shine as bright as the beliefs I have in the things I have, the more I want, the words I say, and all those I only now wish I hadn’t. You have a...

Matthew 12:34 NIV Fix it And yes, that as is to be done through only the emptying thereof as the fact has become that of which we have filled is the same as that of which we are seen. And for what we are seen is the same as what we can likely see, and that simply because we are all quite amazingly the same even down to our being for now still found upon a ground from which we’ve all gleaned and thus gained all we’ve given way to letting in into that place from which every word spoken starts along its journey unto the hearing of those who hear then all about all we are. But I suppose that such is quite possibly the perfect question that must be asked before everything better becomes anything we can become: Who are we? And granted, that is quite the loaded question as it seems always asked within what’s always been the very judgmental tone in which it’s asked. After all, it all but demands at least some degree of judgement for anyone to even consider asking it. And yet this becomes the p...

Matthew 5:19 NIV Flip it Because for days now we’ve been wandering through this discussion as to how the home is supposedly where the heart is and how on earth that’s still even possibly believed whilst living within an earth in which we see so little heart anymore even though so many live as if this world is their home. Indeed, the topic’s centered upon this single question: If home is where the heart is and this is our home then where is the heart? And I’m truly trying to understand the general mindset as it seems I used to and see still many who still do but I don’t anymore. Rather I woke up this morning to the sound of a storm coming and the answer to the issue hit me like the lightning that flashed outside. It’s not that we’re wrong necessarily, even though we are quite wrong ordinarily. Because indeed, home is where the heart is as we’re in truth told expressly to set our hearts upon Heaven as is done in the storing there of our every treasure and thus our many hopes as housed wi...

Ephesians 4:18 NIV Found it It’s now just that I don’t really know what it is nor then what to make of it in light of what we’ve made of it in light of our communal confusion as to the question I asked yesterday, as is found only in our having never asked it before. For yesterday I asked this: If this world is our home and home indeed where the heart is then where is the heart? And I asked this because it seems daily that we see no such mercy as that met in what the heart ought to be, ought to do, ought to give, what we ought then to see. No, rather we see only endlessly the mercilessness of a fallen humanity that somehow continues to fall daily for this deception that tells us both that this world is our home but also that as such it’s supposed to be where we feel we belong. And while this may in fact be the case for many, as it daily so seems to be, what I fear we’re all either finally finding or have been feeling for quite some time or will all indeed feel one day is that the idea j...

Isaiah 64:6 NIV Missing Anymore it seems that the common man is quite convinced that this is home. That this world is where in which always awaits whatever it is that we’re all supposed to simply assume is ever to be whatever is worth whatever a life awaits to win. And this then has everyone here, or at least the vastest majority of such, in such this rush to heap up wealth as if it will be theirs forever. All to be held inside of houses that are instead called homes as if we’re home simply because we have these hours that we can give to filling our houses seeking to make them feel like homes and us too at such. Yes, each of us have this deep longing to feel at home, almost as if we were indeed created to all but consist of such a feeling as that found in our belonging somewhere. Like we’re actually some piece of some puzzle that’s incomplete until we come to see where we fit and we just fall into place alongside then a life that does the same so wonderfully, so perfectly, so beautiful...
