Matthew 13:12 NIV Iniquity’s inequities To faith alone is there a familiarity to God’s somehow foreign fairness for it asks us to consider things from a perspective finally not our own as has been loaned to a land so lost as to find it more reasonable to consider there is no God. And this people amongst whom we’ve been and among whom we remain has become of this brain in a life spent inside this endless strain to make it plain their refusal to repent of what the grave promises will prove us all dead one day. Rather they live still to make it seem unfair that He is fair to their lack of faith. And indeed, I’ll be the first to confess that I too have made a mess of a message like this. I can’t count the number of times that I’ve mulled it over inside a mind that was still mostly mangled thanks to having learned how to think by a man so mingled inside of sin and self. And thanks to such a constant consideration considered amongst a society with clearly no concern about Christ nor apparent...

Jeremiah 8:13 NIV The crumble In truth it’s something clearly already underway. It’s this reality in which God gives us our way, our say, an agreement to the kind of appeasement we seek, think we want, are sure we do. Indeed, even today He is letting loose upon we lost the cost of our continual refusal to at first comprehend all He is and from then appreciate all that means. Indeed, He is giving us exactly what we’ve all spent our lives asking for and will continue to do so until the very fabric of humanity and the fragility in which exists our existence simply cannot take anymore. He will leave us alone until we’re so alone that we finally realize all that He is and all that He does and all that it means in regard to all that He’s promised us. Unfortunately that realization will prove to come upon most too late I’m afraid. For these days to doubt and deny and disbelieve and that the sum of literally everything that even seems to ask or require anything has become our natural reaction ...

Jeremiah 8:12 NIV Shameless I’ll never again be able to look around and comprehend the seemingly widespread ability to see so many of the things that are happening in this world, to this world and consider them acceptable. I just can’t. Rather anymore it feels as if a growing number of sights and sounds seen and heard all around are so incredibly alarming, concerning, confusing, saddening and yeah, just plain scary. What we see happening is a world collapsing as sin rises to new heights all the time, every single day in fact. What we don’t see is that anyone really seems to see any issue with it going this way. Instead it appears as if most folks are perfectly fine with how things are unfolding. So many seem entirely content with the content of our current confusions and delusions and disasters and denials. Indeed, we’ve so sought to perfect our ability to deny just about anything, even things taking place right before our very eyes, that we’ve made doing so our natural reaction to bas...

Ephesians 5:12 NIV Virtually Virtueless Such is what becomes of a people who scorn shame but not in the decent, upright, upstanding way. They slowly watch their appreciation of such things as honesty and morality and modesty, even common decency just sort of disintegrate. Their society becomes eventually one in which there basically is no shame, no sorrow, regret, remorse. And, what’s more, alongside this perpetual relaxing of such ideals as truth and righteousness and responsibility comes always a heart that grows to seemingly forget them. A heart willing to replace them. With what? Look around. You know, I realize that I talk down on our world quite a lot within these posts. I discuss so much of the darkness, the depravity, the decay and other similar disgusting sounds I hear and sights I see. And I understand that, well, nobody really wants to hear about our shortcomings, our struggles, our failures. I realize that that’s in fact a rather large portion of why the people in power bac...

John 3:21 NIV Let it be known Because, well, one day it will be. In fact one day all we are as is to be by then defined by all we’ve done or didn’t will be seen, shown, heard and held and that unto the Light that is the life that is the Christ who came and died in light of all we did and didn’t back before we didn’t know any better. Only problem even then was that we did as God’s all along made it known to all of us that there is good for us and bad for us, fruit to bear and fruit to avoid, truth to speak and lies spoken instead, righteousness by which to live and sadly just how far then we’ve fallen so short. In lives we lived as if He didn’t. All because we didn’t care. Could have. Should have. Doesn’t matter now if we say or not that we would have because what’s been done has been done and He’s already seen all under the sun which is where we are, for now at least. Indeed, we remain for at least another breath, another moment, another memory under the normality that we’ve all of us ...
