Day 3727 of the 7 day Bible verse challenge.

1 John 3:9 NIV

For the seed sown is an admittance of sorts.

Or maybe it’s an acceptance. An admittant’s acceptance. The acceptance of an admittance. The admitting that we’re accepted, or the accepting that we’re only admitted if we’re of the seed shown sown upon the scene seen of Calvary as the cost our Christ carried and charged as if both into the grave to from within there save all of we who’d made such our solace but too also as in a battle cry as cried from within that now collapsed cave from within which He chose to save those who’ve now the charge to live as if He did and they were.

Yes, such is the reason and it’s rationality behind our understanding that we’re now of a new nationality unknown to this world we’re in.

Because we now know we never belonged to this world we’re in.

For something taken from something only belongs to the same something so long as the source of the something is something of some sort of authority or power by which to prove the providence of the provenance needed to so produce something from something else. And that we’re all from dirt means that we are either owned by the dirt and dirty or rather we’re of the holy who took the dirt and made us into what we’ve chosen to not be all that much nor even then for very long.

Indeed, we were created to be holy as is our Father holy, but alas we’ve rather all but wholly known to only know to say no to such a show of anything in the way of holiness, of wholeness, of a wholesome completion as completed within but six days in all, our every one of us taking but one of them. And then He rested from all this creation He’d created. Not in that He gave up on creating, no, just that when something is good there’s really no reason to keep on making it into something else.

If it ain’t broke, right?

Right! Which is the problem, cause we broke!! Like both apart and that because of every law to which we’ve done the same. Indeed, we’ve become of the seed of some sort of sordid steed spent upon the substance of showing the world that we’re all our own by our being owned by the same songs and sins that’ve worn all them thin too. Yes, we awake only to again daily do the same they all did the day before, each of us but a running behind bus delayed by accidents and our refusal to accept that we were the ones who not only caused the lot but chose them too.

For that’s what we do. We do as we please and please then to ignore or deny anything as to a wrong done as done without any reason why. We don’t need one, or at least we don’t think. After all, if we’re all mostly of the same mind, we fallen kind then of the same fallen kind, well then we needn’t a reason to do as everyone else does. Because everyone else is doing it.

Ah yes, the oldest excuse in the book.

Literally!

Like that was the very excuse that Adam gave to God in response to His asking as to why this fallen thing had happened. “Why did you eat that fruit I told you not to eat, Adam?” (Paraphrasing obviously) “She gave it to me. It was her idea. She made me do it. She did it first, I just thought that meant that it was okay for me to do too.” Don’t blame me. It’s not my fault. Wasn’t my idea. They told me to. I was scared of what they’d do should I not do what they asked/suggested/insisted I do.

Because we’re all in this together, right?

No friends, we’re just all here together and it’s because of that constant community that we’ve come to communally consider sin to be the very same friend that billions of others have made it out to be. And so now we see the same as something of a scene shown of the seed sown by those who are well enough alive, and having quite the good time at that, to leave that as reason enough for our to join them in their jaunt to the haunt of a haughty hope of a lowly happiness as haphazardly held inside things held in the heart now hard to this other hope we’d heard.

For the gift of salvation comes from hearing and that hearing being of the Word of God. And well, now that said Word, which was with God and in fact is God, has spoken what He knew needed said whilst doing what He knew needed done, and that what needed done was dying after He’d said that ‘It was finished’, well, such begins the becoming of whatever we’re to become on this side of all that’s now said and done.

It’s just that better only now begins if and when we ourselves sit inside the grave of where all we’ve gone and whatever we’ve given away on the way there and back.

Back to where?

Both the future and the past.

For it seems that that is just about the last place we’ve ever been what He at first made us to be, which is again, holy. Yes, it’s alas the youngest of us who’ve left any of all the rest of us have all but lost. Trust, patience, reliance upon the trust placed within the patience of those who made us and now hopefully uphold the task of trying to carry us onward into both what and who we’re to eventually become. But friends, eternity only comes but eventually too.

Where will we be when it comes, and where will we go from there?

Well, that depends pretty much entirely upon the choices we choose as to the things we lose in what is a life we’ll lose still often filled with the things many hope we won’t. And it’s this community of chaos’ confusion that’s become our now shared delusion which has either began or by now all but become a quite grand dilution of the direction meant of His directive of every soul at first to the cross so as to there see the cost but then unto the tomb as if to there prove that it was paid and thus us there saved.

But were we?

Could be, should be. But can we? By all means, for that is what salvation means as bought by the precious blood of the Living Lord. It’s a gift thus given unto all who need it for the Son of such freedom didn’t die just for a part or portion of a fallen mankind. No, He died that all might live their life both with and in Him. For He wants Heaven as full as was His heart back at that start when He at first began creating this creation out of love.

But of what we’ve done, been, become, what of who then we are is able to show forth that we’re His at all?

This is the part where the debate over works usually joins the call. But friends, while that’s a point to always consider so as to always clarify the common confusions surrounding it, it’s not the point for today. No, the point for today is that there ought to be an obvious evidence of a truly drastic if not utterly dramatic shifting of our gifting of a life as given to us to give from us unto whatever it is that we come to deem worth the time that is this life that we’re here to live for whatever it is that we come to live it for.

And that’s just it, what have we lived it for? What have we lived it toward? What have we aimed it toward in light of what we’ve lived it for? Well, if sin wins death, and we’ve won sin, well then it seems we’ve won death since sin’s won us. And thus defines the deadly danger we’re in because of this place we’re in that we’ve let in to both our hearts and their hopes, and thus our too giving over the lead to all that’s already all but left us lost.

So much so that still we sit inside a great deal of doubt doing as the rest have always done. Just a life of enjoying the sun and denying the Son.

Thus the life that death has won.

But is that what we want? It’s not what He wants as He’s shown us that He’d literally rather die than to leave His creation created out of His thus limitless love for us to do the same despite the seeds they’ve sown of the deeds they’ve shown as done as if the Son didn’t rise after that day when the sun went dark and the veil was torn apart and the path to Him was reopened again after having been closed by both negligence on our part and the demand of holiness on His.

Yes, none will see the Father without love for the same inside of them.

Is there anything then inside of all that we do that shows that a love for Him is alive in us?

Or rather do we still delight only to deny the necessity of such a changing as considered unnecessary by those who are both perishing and yet oddly still able to count and consider all faith to be foolish as if all faith can be is foolishness?

Sadly, when left to a life lived already and the ease of then doing but that same all over again, yeah, we’re probably still doing much of, if not most of, what we’ve all already always done before. But what does that sign show of the seed sown inside? I mean, if we’re still harvesting heaping helpings of hatred and hostility, greed and animosity, denial and immorality, well then who’s to say that we’re of God considering how none of those things are in any way anything that He’s known to be?

He’s said that He won’t! No, rather if we deny Him, He’s said that He will deny us too. It’s a quite simple fairness really, and yet something that so many seem to see or sadly assume but an unkindness.

Yes, so many people willfully deny Jesus all because He asks us to stop doing what caused the death of us that He died for us. And well, that seems an entirely reasonable request really. After all, He literally died because of what we’ve done, been, become. Is it not then both reasonable and fair to ask that we stop doing what demands a death?

I mean, we should have seen that clarity a long time ago! For if the goal is a life to live, well then choosing what brings even the chance at death seems an at least potentially questionable decision. Only this one is a given because of the evidence of all He’s given, and that both to us and then still for us. Yes, He gave His life so that we could receive the seed that such was meant to sow that’s meant to grow into a harvest of hope as held inside the hope for which He died.

That being that we’d all turn and repent and find in that a new life lived without all the love for sin, and thus the demand for death, that we’ve known within the old.

But what of us is new? What all new do we do? Is there anything new in anything we do? Or have we yet to admit that we’ve been accepted by Him? Have we yet to accept that He has admitted us unto the hope of the hope He has for us? Have we not only refused such a hope as that of Heaven, the hope He has for us, the home He has for us, because He asks us to admit what all we’ve accepted and thus to accept that His hope is only our home if we too admit that we’ve both accepted and thus admitted a great many deaths into our life?

Why keep letting them in?

That’s the question.

Because the answer is that we can’t, not if we’re in God and He again in us. Not that He ever left, but we most certainly did. We left off looking to Him, leaning on Him, learning from Him a long time ago. Are we still doing the same? And if so, as most are, well then what can we point to as proof of a change us in the likes of which He died to begin in us? If we’re still just as warped and wrong as we’ve been all along, well then it’s reasonable to wonder as to whether or not He’s won us over.

And that not for a lack of His trying, no, simply rather a lack of us caring.

And that’s as unreasonable as it gets.

Because if we can look at the cross and feel nothing that’s powerful enough, moving enough, important enough to welcome some change into our lives, then friends we’re deader than we ever thought. For if we can gaze upon what causes a grave to be filled, a body suffering in an agony we can’t even imagine, and feeling still nothing, well then I think it’s reasonable to ask what’s happened to us.

We should care. We should feel. We should rejoice with those who rejoice and cry with those who can’t help but to keep crying themselves. We should share in both sufferings and successes. We should see Jesus as the One who suffered for us so as to achieve the success for us of a life lived forever with Him, all so that we’d not have to taste what He took. And yet daily we watch a world turn away. And sadly, we’ve all done just the same.

All of us have turned our backs and walked away from the Way that is the Life. Why? Because He speaks the truth that sets captives free. Yet we can’t agree to our acceptance of captivity, nor then admit that we need Him, nor then accept Him admitted into us nor us into Him.

And thus the world stands at a distance and wonders why He feels so far away.

It’s because we all pushed Him there friends. And now all that’s left is for each of us to decide whether and when we try to close that gap.

Oddly enough, should we try to do just that, we’ll only find that He already did. And too, well, if we don’t we won’t. That’s the difference designed within this change in us in which He delights to ask of us. And again, He has every right to ask of us whatever He wants. The Man died our death, and so it’s fair for Him to ask we do with our life whatever He wants us to do.

But will we? Are we?

There should be, either felt or seen, something in the way of evidence that makes His presence obvious in us. We shouldn’t be who we were doing what we’ve done as who we shouldn’t want to be anymore. Problem is that we’re in a world that roundly refuses such a monumental and yet magnificent kind of change. And this problem has become personal in that we’ve all learned to do then the same. And we have. But friends, today is new and thus too our chance to do something new too.

Will we?

He did. And simply put, if we won’t do as He did in light of what He’s done, well then we’ve no claim to the Son and shouldn’t expect Him to want to claim us either.

Either way we’ll all meet the Father. Will be as friend? Foe? Truth is that He already knows.

Question is whether or not we live as if we do.
