Day 3714 of the 7 day Bible verse challenge.

2 Thessalonians 1:8 NIV It’s either or. For that is the overall simplicity of a life offered such a salvation the cost of which was a cross on which the very Son of Heaven Himself gave up Himself for the help of those many who might see in that fright of that night found in the middle of the day a reason to say that enough was truly enough. And that simply because while there can be such a thing as too much of a good thing, something leading to gluttony or greed, so too then is there an easier seen seed sewn inside the wanting of too much of a bad thing. And negligence in the face of a simple obedience is as dangerous as any other decision may prove. Because the truth is that we’ve all a life to lose. Problem then being that we all see the very same as but a life to live. And this problem is from there furthered into our seeing it as thus a life to be lived in accord with what we love as we live as if our life is both our own and thus to be proven reasonably prone to our doing with as ...

1 Peter 1:14 NIV When. Alas it seems all too often that when strikes again. Or at least it has in my life so prone to the strife that is the knife that cuts me to the considering of such things as giving up and walking away back into that great many a day in which ignorance wasn’t just where I lived but was who I am. And indeed, I’m sad to say that ignorance is indeed still me more days than it ought to be. Suppose that in some way or another that’s supposed to be the way this goes. For we’ll always remain ignorant of that which we simply do not know. Problem then is that while quite impressively unhesitant to admit our lack of blindness, so admitting is also a basic confessing of our overall awareness of the general penchant for the blindness that beholds all of us. For we cannot truly claim that we know something unless we also confess that we at one time didn’t know what we’ve managed to learn. Because life just doesn’t work like that. And while it’s not at all a humiliating thing t...

Ephesians 2:2 NIV Commas I often marvel at the beautiful importance waiting to be won within what seems a perfectly insignificant thing such as a mark of punctuation meant to either separate or join together two thoughts denoting either the continuation of the thinking or rather a stark change in tone and/or perspective. It’s kind of like the severe simplicity we discussed yesterday in regard to what are a couple of often overlooked words written into our walks, those being the pair of was and were and how they’re perhaps far more important and powerful than our pride has ever allowed in mind. Kind of like the whole idea of ‘used to’ as sewn into the early motives of today’s missive. Used to has itself become something of a phrase so overused that it seems too obtuse to mean all that much. For we talk all the time of things we used to do, thing we used to say, thoughts we used to think and why we thought then they the things to do or say. And all of this concession unto such constant c...

Ephesians 2:1 NIV Were. It’s, in my opinion as garnered from both the context and the concepts, what seems to be at least perhaps one of the most important words in all of human language. And sure, I suppose that its close cousin ‘was’ is of an almost equal importance, but somehow maybe not quite so. For was connotes a singular exemplar of whatever noun, verb, adjective is in focus. Because only one person can be what that one person was. And while that is a truly remarkable thing, something so amazing as a person’s personal growth, it just feels more miraculous when there are many who’ve thus been communally freed from what the same as those many used to be. And it seems far more amazing because we’re all different, and thus have all been different things. And thus too found at different times in what were different lives all of which were lived in different forms of the very same lost. Yes, we’ve all been lost in what are/were our own personal walks as each having gone quite uniquely...

Mark 16:6 NIV Where were we? Well, where we were isn’t where we have to be now that He isn’t where He was but is rather where He went to lead us from both what and where and thus too who we used to be. And thus it’s we, you and me, who are now not to be what we’ve been as a result of both where we’ve been and thus who we’ve become as having become like those who’ve too been what we’ve been thanks to what this world’s become. Rather all of us have now in Jesus that freedom that frees us to be what we’ve not ever been able to be but can now finally become: Free. Because until this day, as achieved roughly some 730,000 days or so ago, freedom is something we’d not have had the ability to know. Because until that day when He emptied that grave, to so grow into what we’ve now the chance to know was something we didn’t know how to do as it was something that came only at the loss of a life lived to lose. And this is something of still such a confused controversy that even still today we all ...

2 Peter 3:9 NIV Thus the necessity of our lack of lean upon what we think anything to mean. For twas never our understanding that was meant to understand neither where we stand, nor why we stand where we do, nor then what this stance upon this branch is meant to be, nor become, nor thus we, nor whatever it is that we’re still to be. Rather our understanding stands often only in the way of the Way that won the way toward both where and thus who we’ve neither been nor thus ever had the ability to believe. Simply because unto those who believe in only what they see thin, things that aren’t seen are neither understood. And thus could never be believed, even if there were a scene to be seen at some point. Such as that painted atop a hill pained of both persecution and its purpose mixing so perfectly as to accomplish eternally the hope of eternity as promised by He who took our place and stole our lives back from that grave into which He, as of today, still lay. At least back then. Yes, I th...
